Job Description

  • Responsible for providing a range of duties related to the overall patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet patients; direct them appropriately to relevant departments with clear instructions.
  • Provide hospital information and respond to patient queries.
  • Handle complaints in a structured, timely, and professional manner, ensuring fairness, courtesy, and respect for privacy to identify issues and improve departmental services.
  • Ensure patients have an overall positive patient experience.
  • Act as a liaison between departments when required.
  • Manage reception and waiting areas effectively.
  • Handle telephone enquiries and direct calls appropriately.
  • Follow the duty schedule assigned by the supervisor, including varied shift timings as per departmental needs.
  • Strictly adhere to NMC regulations and policies, particularly those related to infection control, patient safety, and JCI standards.
  • Support Continuous Quality Improvement and participate in all quality assurance activities of the service.
