Kanad Hospital, previously known as Oasis Hospital, was established in 1960 by Doctors Pat and Mariam Kennedy after receiving a direct request from His Highness Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan. The Kennedys, physicians originating from the United States, arrived in the region with the primary purpose of honoring God by delivering compassionate and loving healthcare to individuals living in this part of the world. From the very beginning of its launch, Kanad Hospital quickly became known for outstanding obstetric and pediatric care. The hospital is recognized as one of the leading healthcare institutions dedicated to women and children throughout the Middle East. Kanad Hospital also carries the honor of being the birthplace of many national leaders, including His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
