Chief Driver
Job Purpose
- dnata is one of the world’s largest air services providers offering ground handling, cargo, travel, and inflight catering services across five continents
- Operations span 38 countries and 136 airports worldwide
- Responsible for allocating Loader/Drivers to ensure fulfilment of customer airline commitments related to aircraft handling
- Allocation activities are carried out using the Resource Management System (RMS)
Key Responsibilities
- Allocate Loader/Drivers for aircraft handling based on load requirements, flight number, and scheduled time of departure (STD)
- Brief Loader/Drivers on flight details prior to assignment
- Monitor time and attendance of assigned personnel
- Manage large groups of staff and maintain operational discipline
- Coordinate closely with Team Leaders to adjust allocations during flight disruptions or schedule changes
- Allocate drivers during free periods for refuelling petrol and diesel vehicles
- Dispatch equipment to the Engineering Department for servicing and maintenance
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of schooling or equivalent
- At least one year of driving experience with good knowledge of airside operations
- Knowledge of Arabic or Hindi is an advantage
- Familiarity with all ramp areas at Dubai International Airport
- Clear verbal communication skills required
