The Customer Service Executive is a cornerstone of the Abreco Freight team, acting as the primary link between our global clients and their shipment operations. This role is designed for a proactive professional who can balance meticulous coordination with carriers while providing top-tier communication to ensure every cargo move is seamless and punctual.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the dedicated point of contact for all customer inquiries, providing real-time shipment updates and fostering long-term professional partnerships.
- Freight Quotation: Generate and present competitive logistics quotes across all primary modes of transport, including air, sea, and land.
- Issue Resolution: Professionally manage and resolve customer concerns or complaints with a focus on speed and service excellence.
- Operational Coordination: Liaise directly with international agents, shipping lines, airlines, and local transporters to synchronize logistics.
- Booking Management: Oversee and arrange bookings for FCL (Full Container Load), LCL (Less than Container Load), and specialized air or land freight.
- Proactive Tracking: Monitor the lifecycle of every shipment and provide clients with preemptive updates to ensure transparency.
- Documentation Mastery: Prepare, verify, and manage critical shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BL), Air Waybills (AWB), Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin (COO).
- Compliance & Clearance: Maintain strict adherence to UAE customs regulations and collaborate closely with clearance teams to expedite import and export processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Educational Background: A diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.
- Industry Experience: Between 2 to 5 years of proven experience within the freight forwarding customer service sector.
- Regional Expertise: Prior experience handling logistics operations specifically within Abu Dhabi is considered a significant advantage.
