Accounts Payable Executive
Key Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Verify invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documents.
Prepare and process payment runs, including bank transfers and cheques.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation.
Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers regarding payment-related queries.
Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and accounting procedures.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Support audit requirements by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems. (SAP experience will be an added advantage)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Experience – Overall 5 years of working experience (minimum 2 years- experience in Dubai)
Role – Junior Accountant/Accountant (based on experience and qualifications)
Qualifications – Minimum, Degree on Accounting/Finance (additional part qualification on any professional body (CA/CIMA/ACCA) will be an added advantage)
