Accounts Executive

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience: 1–2 years preferred | Freshers are also welcome to apply

Key Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, debit notes and credit notes.
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
Record and verify supplier and customer transactions.
Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
Follow up on outstanding customer receivables and supplier payments.
Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.
Coordinate with the operations and management teams regarding job costing and billing.
Assist with monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
Maintain accurate records of expenses and other company transactions.
Support the management and external accountants/auditors when required.

Requirements

1–2 years of accounting experience is preferred.
Freshers with a relevant accounting qualification are also welcome to apply.
Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Experience in the UAE or freight forwarding/logistics industry will be an advantage.
