The Dubai British Schools’ Legacy
Since 2005, Dubai British Schools have established a remarkable legacy in providing premium British education, consistently fostering an environment where students can thrive. With a steadfast vision centred on “Enjoy, Aspire, and Achieve,” the schools emphasise not only academic excellence but also the importance of a holistic educational experience that allows students to reach their potential. This commitment has enabled countless learners to cultivate a love for learning, aspire to reach their full potential, and achieve outstanding results. By nurturing critical thinking, creativity, and character development, Dubai British Schools continue to prepare students for success in an ever-changing world, solidifying their reputation as a leader in British education in the region.

Global University Destinations
The alumni of Dubai British School EH secure places at some of the best colleges and universities around the globe. Whilst the majority take up places at UK universities, many also study in the USA, Canada, continental Europe, UAE, Australia, and various institutions in the rest of Asia.
Over 95% of students receive offers from their first-choice university and course, with the vast majority going on to attend that course. Small cohort sizes enable personalised one-to-one coaching for each student, along with tailored ideas and solutions.
In recent years, DBSEH students have studied a broad array of subjects at many competitive universities. A selection of these courses has been taken up in the last two years.

Inspections
Every school in Dubai is regularly inspected by the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau (DSIB) on behalf of the Knowledge and Human Development Agency (KHDA).
The DSIB is the Dubai equivalent of the UK’s OFSTED, whereby schools undergo rigorous inspection and key performance is noted.
The report includes a summary of overall performance, highlighting key strengths and recommendations, along with detailed analysis of areas such as progress and attainment, personal and social development, teaching and assessment, curriculum, school management, and relationships with parents and the community.
Once notification of a child’s placement decision has been given and the registration and relevant term fees have been paid, a contract is deemed to exist between the school and the parents/guardians, provided that school regulations are observed. The school reserves the right to place the child in a class deemed most appropriate, within the bounds of KHDA guidelines.
As required by the United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Education, submission of a Transfer Certificate (TC) from the current school is mandatory in order to legally register a child with the KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority). Registration at any school in Dubai without a TC is not possible.

From Another Emirate/Overseas:
