Expansion
As part of its long-term strategic expansion plan, ENOC Group opened a new service station in Sharjah, increasing its UAE network to 204 stations. The new station caters to residents and commuters with a full range of fuel options, including Super 98, Special 95, E Plus 91, and Diesel.

Driver – TAS

The Driver – TAS plays an important role within the Vehicle Testing and Registration division of ENOC. Working under the general supervision of the Vehicle Technician and Technical Supervisor, the driver is responsible for the safe movement and handling of customer vehicles within the testing facility premises. This position requires a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to safety standards to ensure that all vehicles are handled professionally throughout the testing process.
The primary responsibility of the Driver – TAS is to drive customer vehicles within the designated testing and registration facility. The driver must carefully transport vehicles between testing stations, inspection lanes, and parking areas while strictly following company procedures and safety regulations. Since customer vehicles are valuable assets, the driver is expected to exercise caution and professionalism at all times to prevent damage and ensure smooth operations.
In addition to vehicle movement, the driver assists Vehicle Technicians during basic vehicle testing activities whenever required. This may include supporting routine inspection procedures, positioning vehicles correctly for testing, and helping technicians complete assigned tasks efficiently. The driver may also be requested to conduct basic vehicle tests under the guidance and direction of qualified Vehicle Technicians, ensuring that all activities comply with operational standards and established procedures.
Once testing and inspection activities are completed, the driver is responsible for parking vehicles safely in the designated parking areas. Proper vehicle handling and accurate parking are essential to maintain workflow efficiency and customer satisfaction. The driver must ensure that all vehicles are secured appropriately and parked according to company guidelines.
Another important aspect of the role involves maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of testing lanes and testing equipment. The driver supports supervisors by carrying out regular maintenance-related tasks, ensuring that testing areas remain operational, safe, and ready for daily activities. This contribution helps maintain high service standards and supports the overall effectiveness of the testing facility.
To succeed in this position, candidates should possess a good general education, preferably at the high school level. A valid UAE driving license, either Light Vehicle or Heavy Vehicle, is mandatory for performing the duties of the role. Previous experience in driving and vehicle handling is highly beneficial, while a technical or automotive background would be considered an added advantage.
The ideal candidate should also have strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with supervisors, technicians, and colleagues. Basic computer knowledge is desirable, as some operational tasks may involve the use of digital systems and record-keeping tools. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
