Accountant
job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Record and maintain daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
*Process accounts payable, including vendor invoices, payment requests, and supplier reconciliations.
*Manage accounts receivable, issue invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments.
*Prepare and post journal entries accurately and on time.
*Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and petty cash transactions.
*Monitor cash balances and prepare daily cash flow reports.
*Verify expenses and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
*Assist with payroll preparation and related accounting entries.
*Prepare monthly account reconciliations and schedules.
*Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
*Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
*Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
*Assist in preparing VAT/tax returns and supporting audit requirements.
*Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions and documentation.
Qualifications
*Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
