We are a travel company and tour guide with strong partnerships with various tour operators, airlines, and hotels to ensure you receive the finest care throughout your trip in Dubai Al Maktoum Street, Port Saeed – Deira – Dubai Nearest Metro Station City Centre Deira Metro Station is looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and maintaining compliance with local accounting standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable with 1-3 years of relevant experience in the Travel & Tourism industry. They will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and resolving discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
- – Recording of day-to-day transactions in Accounting system.
- – Ensure Financial statement is prepared.
- – Suggest for change in accounting process where it is required.
- – Prepare monthly Variance report based on Actual and Budgeted P&L for each business unit.
- – Participate in the preparation of the needed reports related to accounts payable (daily, weekly, monthly, and annually) on time for effective management decision making
- – Managing accounts receivables and accounts payables and maintaining records of vendor relations and statuses
- – Processing journal entries to the general ledger
- – Reconciling bank and credit card accounts on weekly basis
- – Working with the Manager in forecasting income and expenses
- – Prepare monthly payroll and timely submission to the management
- – To draft the management reports each month as per the requirement.
- – Set-up and maintain a Company Asset and supplier register.
- – Streamlining of processes and automation of tasks
- – Prepare reports for presentation to Directors and Stakeholders
- – Provide effective credit control
- – Develop a strong working relationship with key customers and ensure invoicing is correct and accurate
- – Other tasks as may be assigned from time to time
- • Prepare and file VAT returns as per UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations
- • Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax laws
- • Maintain accurate tax records and financial statements
- • Conduct tax audits and reconcile tax liabilities
- • Advise on tax-saving strategies and risk mitigation
- • Liaise with the FTA and external auditors for tax matters
- • Stay updated on changes in UAE tax regulations
- • Use accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks,
Desired Skills and Experience
- – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- – Minimum of 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the Travel.
- – Experiences in Prepare and file tax returns accurately and timely for VAT
- – Proficiency in accounting software (quickbook) and Microsoft Office.
- – Experience with tax audits and compliance reporting
- – Knowledge in compliance with UAE Corporate Tax laws
- – Experiences in Conducting tax audits and reconcile tax liabilities
- – Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- – Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- – Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
