Accountant
Location: Dubai
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
▪️ Monthly bank reconciliations and weekly closing entries.
▪️Preparing and issuing VAT-compliant sales invoices in line with UAE FTA regulations.
▪️Managing PDC receivables and payables schedules.
▪️Preparing AP cheques for suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
▪️Posting accounting entries for EOSB, leave salary, and pending wages.
▪️Month-end and year-end journal entries and MIS report preparation.
▪️Supporting year-end audits — schedules, queries, and documentation.
▪️Accounting entries for Letters of Credit (L/C) and Letters of Guarantee (L/G).
▪️Maintaining organized, accurate, and audit-ready financial records.
REQUIREMENTS:
▪️Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
▪️1–3 years of accounting experience — UAE experience preferred.
▪️Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and FTA compliance.
▪️Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, NAV, or similar).
▪️Advanced MS Excel skills.
▪️Experience with trade finance accounting (L/C, L/G) is an advantage.
▪️High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines.
