Responsiblity
- You will be responsible for managing the full procurement cycle, from RFQs and supplier selection through Purchase Order issuance, shipment, customs clearance, and final delivery.
- Prepare, review, amend, and monitor Purchase Orders and Letters of Credit (L/Cs). Coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, banks, shipping lines, and customs brokers.
- Monitor supplier performance, production schedules, and delivery commitments to ensure project requirements are met.
- Ensure the timely delivery of imported project materials while optimizing logistics costs and minimizing delays.
- Resolve procurement, shipping, customs, banking, and documentation issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Projects, Warehousing, Finance, and Site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and logistics operations.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent command of English is required; proficiency in Arabic is mandatory.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in international procurement, preferably within the construction, EPC, or infrastructure sectors.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in:
- International Procurement
- International Shipping & Freight Forwarding
- Purchase Order Management
- Documentary Credits (Letters of Credit – L/Cs)
- International Banking Transactions (e.g., Letters of Credit, Bank Transfers, and Documentary Collections)
