What Makes Apparel Group Stand Out?

Apparel Group’s diverse brand portfolio is one of the key factors behind its position in the retail industry. Rather than concentrating on a single category, the organisation operates across several segments, allowing it to serve customers with different tastes, lifestyles, and budgets.

Brand selection is also an important part of the business strategy. International labels are introduced to regional markets based on factors such as customer demand, market potential, brand reputation, product appeal, and compatibility with local shopping preferences. This approach helps ensure that the portfolio remains relevant as consumer expectations continue to change.

A Large and Diverse Workforce

Behind the Group’s extensive retail network is a multicultural workforce of more than 28,000 employees. People from different backgrounds contribute to store operations, brand management, customer experience, logistics, technology, and corporate functions. Such diversity plays an important role in managing a business operating across numerous countries and cultures.

Founders and Leadership

Apparel Group was founded by Sima Ganwani Ved and Nilesh Ved in 1996. Under their leadership, the organisation has developed from its early retail operations into a multinational conglomerate with a substantial presence across international markets. The founders continue to guide the company’s long-term growth and expansion strategy.

Recognition and Future Ambitions

Over the years, Apparel Group has received industry recognition for its retail operations, business growth, workplace culture, brand development, and contribution to the regional retail sector. These achievements reflect the organisation’s continuing focus on innovation and customer-focused retail.

The next phase of growth is centred on entering new markets, strengthening existing operations, adopting emerging technologies, and creating new retail experiences. With an established international portfolio and a rapidly expanding footprint, Apparel Group aims to set higher standards for modern retail and build a stronger position on the global stage.
