This position focuses on planning, coordinating, and controlling terminal operations in line with established policies, regulatory frameworks, and operational manuals. Cost efficiency, safety assurance, and performance consistency remain central to all activities under this role.

The Terminal Services Controller oversees dnata Cargo’s Tracing and Emergency Control Centre (ECC) functions, ensuring contractual commitments and product priorities are met without compromising safety or service standards. Continuous business excellence is achieved through structured oversight, proactive planning, and alignment across cargo terminals, supporting a world-class experience for airline and logistics customers.

A core responsibility involves the continuous review and enhancement of operational standards, procedures, and special cargo products. Improvements are recommended based on operational data, regulatory changes, and performance outcomes. Clear communication of procedural updates ensures employees understand revised controls, while follow-up with relevant departments confirms that risk assessments, process updates, and manual revisions are implemented effectively.

This position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires a high level of operational discipline.

Candidates must hold a degree along with certification in Air Cargo or Cargo Ground Handling, supported by six to eight years of experience in air cargo or logistics operations. A UAE driving license and valid airport equipment permits are required. Strong knowledge of cargo terminal operations, ramp services, baggage handling, passenger services, and operational IT systems is essential. Advanced supervisory, communication, writing, and safety awareness skills are mandatory, alongside proficient English language capability.
