Executive / Sr. Executive — Finance & Accounts

Job Purpose

This position will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, statutory compliance, timely reporting and financial analysis.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounts, ledger postings, vouchers, and financial records.
• Prepare and maintain payable and receivable reports on time.
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and inter-company transactions on a regular basis.
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, Tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as required.
• Maintain ERP/Accounting Software entries accurately and timely.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of all financial records and supporting documents.
• Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support strategic financial planning and reporting activities.

Required Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from a recognized university.
• CA (CC) from a reputed firm.
• 2-3 Years experience in relevant field.
• Prior experience in a real estate, construction, or project-based company is preferred.

Knowledge, Skill & Technical/Functional Abilities

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Bangladesh Tax/VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., IFS, Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or any ERP system).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
