Accounting Manager
Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE regulations, VAT requirements, and internal policies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
• Coordinate external audits and maintain audit-ready financial records.
• Lead and develop the accounting team while driving process improvements and automation initiatives.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong experience with IFRS reporting and financial statement preparation.
• UAE/GCC experience, especially UAE financial regulations and VAT compliance, is highly preferred.
• Experience in commercial and industrial sectors is an advantage.
• Fluency in Arabic is essential.
• Candidates must currently reside in the UAE with a valid residency visa and work permit.
• Immediate availability or a short notice period is preferred.
