Load Master (EK SkyCargo)
Job Purpose
Established in 1985 as the airfreight division of Emirates, Emirates SkyCargo is the largest international cargo airline in the world! We are looking for supply chain and logistics professionals ready to support Emirates SkyCargo as our organisation continuously increases it’s cargo capacity and develops specialised products to meet the growing needs of customers.
As a Load Master, you will plan ahead of the flight so as to ascertain that requisite arrangements have been made at origin, destination and any en-route stations, and to accompany the aircraft while performing charter/scheduled operations, in order to ensure all ground operational activity takes place in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with Emirates/Airports standards and procedures
In this role, you will;
- Plan ahead of the flight to ensure all ground handling arrangements are in place and ensure all information related to the ground handling agent, airport and load specification is obtained. Ensure that the Load is built up in accordance with the Emirates Standards meeting all safety requirements.
- Supervise the Ground Handling Agent (GHA) to ensure that load optimization and loading efficiency is achieved taking into consideration requirements for all special cargo. Prepare the loading instruction report and issue to GHA in a timely manner so that the aircraft loading can commence. Ensure that the aircraft is unloaded in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure at all times, that the handling of time and temperature and pharmaceutical shipments demonstrates compliance to the European Union Good Distribution Practice (EU GDP) requirements.
- Responsible for preparing the aircraft weight and balance, trim sheet and submit to the Pilot in command. Issue aircraft loading and unloading instructions.
- At destination ensure that General Declaration, flight plan and weather reports are obtained from the Ground Handling Agent and concerned authorities.
- Accountable for the punctuality of all flights and to ensure that an acceptable level of on-time departures is achieved. Liaise with crew/crew hotel in the event of expected delay so as to ensure crew calls are delayed so as not to impact crew duty time limitation.
- Maintain close contacts with Ground Handling Agents, Line Maintenance Engineers, and Local Airport Authorities etc to ensure that the highest levels of Customer Service are consistently delivered.
- Assess serviceability of aircraft loading systems/equipment and liaise with Engineering for rectification as well as determine operational restrictions and limitations until systems are rectified.
- In the event of accompanying grooms, ensure all grooms are listed and approved for the flight and that their identities are checked prior to boarding the aircraft. Liaise with the grooms and crew for optimal loading positions for special loads.
- Accountable for carrying out the security search of the main deck cargo compartment to ensure that nothing has been placed that would jeopardize the safety of the aircraft. Ensure that all Aircraft Pre-Flight Security and preparation are carried as laid down in the Flight Operations Manual.
- Carry out Dangerous goods inspections related to aircraft loading and also deal with any DG related incidents related to flight and handling while the aircraft is on Ground. Ensure necessary Permits and paper work accompany special types of cargo such as AVI and Dangerous Goods that require special clearance to avoid problems at destinations and transit stations.
Qualification
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below;
- 5+ years experience in Cargo/Airline/Ground handling in all areas in a major international airport.
- 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
- Should have completed Load Control 1 and 2, Dangerous Goods Acceptance, Aircraft Loading and Handling Training and Special Cargo Handling including IATA LAR.
- Good Knowledge of Local and International Customs, Immigration and Security Regulations.
- Ability to demonstrable high level of knowledge and competence in Good Distribution Practice (GDP) acquired through experience and training.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimum amount of supervision and strong communication skills in both written and spoken skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and should be able to work under pressure

Job Purpose
Emirates Flight Training is a modern, progressive department that utilises Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) methodology in all our courses and is one of the few full Evidence Based Training (EBT) operators worldwide. As part of Emirates Airline’s continued growth, we are seeking experienced aviation professionals to join our Flight Training department in non-flying, ground-based roles as Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE). This position is responsible for conducting pilot proficiency evaluations using Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs) and overseeing ground-based assessments in accordance with GCAA regulations and Emirates’ standards.
- Conduct regulatory and company-mandated proficiency checks, skill tests, and assessments using Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs), in line with GCAA regulations and Emirates’ training standards.
- Evaluate pilot performance during recurrent, type rating, recency, and upgrade training sessions, ensuring consistency and objectivity in line with established benchmarks.
- Complete and submit accurate and detailed examination reports and assessments using the electronic reporting system within prescribed timelines.
- Identify performance gaps and recommend remedial or additional training as required to uphold safety and competency standards.
- Provide detailed feedback to training management regarding pilot performance trends, systemic issues, or potential improvements in instructional methodology and training effectiveness.
- Support training program development, course reviews, and other departmental initiatives related to simulator and ground-based pilot evaluation.
Qualification
- Hold or have held a CPL Commercial Pilot License MPL Multicrew Pilot License or ATPL Airline Transport Pilot License
- Experience Minimum 12 months as an active Examiner
- Minimum 1500 hours flight time as a pilot on multipilot aeroplane

The Agile Delivery Lead is responsible for the day to day planning leading organising and motivating of the scrum teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in the delivery of outputs that provide exceptional value to business users.
In this role you will:
- Schedule user stories from the technical product backlog to the Sprint plan, focusing on regular and timely delivery of business value initiatives; facilitates agile ceremonies, e.g. product backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives.
- Manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies removing impediments / blockers to ensure optimial flow of value.
- Guide the team on the use of Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight the business and how to elicit the most out of self-organisation. Qualification
To be considered for the role you must meet the below requirements:
- Degree or Honours or equivalent in a subject related to Computer Science or similar
- Certified Scrum Master with 3 years of practical application of the Scrum Management discipline PMI ACP transition of existing SDCs are exempt.
- 5 years of working in Information Technology in agile delivery within the context of a small medium technology change program.
- Proven leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organisation with global teams for a large organisation.
- Well versed in the use of tools of software delivery eg MS OFFICE suite JIRA Confluence etc.
- Ability to effectively communicate specialist information in an understandable format to all stakeholders.
- Excellent Communication Skills, focusing on core Scrum values of openness, honesty and respect.
- Aviation Cargo or Logistics domain experience is preferred.
