Al Salam Al Assima Hospital is a renowned hospital which was set up in the year 1964, as a small maternity hospital with just 10 beds and only 1 Obstetrician/Gynecologist Doctor and 5 nurses as staff.
Then, the hospital started to grow rapidly both in size and number of the staff, thereby building the reputation of the hospital as an esteemed private hospital in Kuwait. In May 1992, the hospital had widened its scope of services and became a full-fledged secondary care General Hospital.
In January 2001, an ambitious expansion program led to the starting of the construction of the new facility, which got commissioned on April 16, 2006.At present, this hospital consists of
190 beds and provides Obstetric, Gynecology, Medical, Surgical, Pediatric and Emergency Care Services. As a commitment to its logo statement “Trust” and utilizing the Accreditation Canada Performance Improvement Standards as a mean of fulfilling the organizational vision and mission, this firm ensures the acquisition of state-of-art technology, recruitment of highly efficient and well trained clinical and non-clinical staff, in addition to the provision of continuing education programs and keeping abreast with evidence-based practices.
