JOB TITLE: Registered Nurse
DIVISION: La Cosmetique Royale (Cosmetic Center)
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the nursing care of patients according to their scope of practice in liaison with Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
·       Candidates must have experience in Laser
·       Administer treatments as directed such as taking and recording temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height of patients,
·       Use the nursing process to provide safe patient care.
·       Competent in general and unit specific skills necessary to provide patient care.
·       Administer medications safely and according to policies, procedures, and division competencies.
·       Prepare, maintain, and proficient in handling medical instruments and equipment’s needed for every procedure.
·       Document and update patient medical records.
·       Secure all the necessary documents needed before each procedure.
·       Transport specimens to and from laboratory.
·       Assist physicians with physical assessment, follow ups, treatment, and procedures.
·       Assist the Anesthesiologist during pre-operative consultations.
·       Providing surgical patients with perioperative care during procedure and monitor patients undergoing the in-office procedure.
·       Assisting surgeons during in-office surgical procedures.
·       Responsible for laser hair removal treatment and giving pre and post instruction with the procedure.
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
·       Bachelor of Nursing.
·       License to practice nursing in Kuwait.
·       Yearly unit and divisional competency review.
·       Maintains certification of BLS.
·       Optional certification in ACLS.
·       Able to communicate both written and oral English, Arabic language skills desired but not required.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Two years post graduate experience required.
PHYSICAL EFFORT REQUIRED:
Long hours spent standing and walking.
On call duty during off days and holidays

JOB TITLE: Registrar- Obstetrics & Gynaecology
DIVISION: Obstetrics & Gynaecology

JOB SUMMARY:
To attend casualty cases and give emergency treatment, do the necessary admission procedures

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Councils the patients with proper documentation of the patient history, physical examination appropriate investigation, highlighting the problems, and formulates a clear plan for management after differential diagnosis, to be discussed with the concerned consultant.
• Properly counsels, prepares & guides admitted patients for surgery referred by the consultant by the appropriate protocol & consultant advice, makes sure consent form is filled & signed after proper counseling.
• Does routine rounds on the floors for all the admitted patients, reviews the history, physical examination, investigation & treatment given.
• Responds immediately to any call to see the patients without delay, the patient complaint, physical findings, available investigation, treatment given, decision taken by the consultant should be properly documented in date and time
• Does a discharge note including diagnosis, management delivery data, operation or procedure performed, take home medication, follow up instructions, & health teaching should be given to the patient upon discharge.
• Sees the Oby/Gyn cases in Triage/emergency room within 5 minutes of the patient arrival; takes the necessary investigation, and initial management to be carried in the presence of the consultant on call.
• Be able to differentiate between low and high risk pregnancy as well as normal & abnormal labor.
• Be able to fill in the partogram & adequately interpret CTG.
• Posses the knowledge & experience to attend the normal & abnormal vaginal delivery, to attend and assist in all minor/major Oby/Gyn procedures.
• Strictly follows the ethical & regulations policy of RHH and the Oby/Gyn department as well as the regulation policy/protocols.
• Does any extra assigned work for the hospital & attends the teaching scientific meetings/conferences.
• Performs other tasks and duties within the scope of the knowledge, skills, and experience required for the job, as assigned by the immediate superior.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
• Bachelor Degree • Master Degree

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
• More than 10 years after Master Degree

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
• Able to communicate and interact with the patients and work as part of a team

Additional Requirements:
• Ability to stand for long hours
